About The Course

This training was developed for the International Labour Organization, a United Nations agency, to support leaders in the Indonesian garment industry in addressing and preventing sexual harassment in the workplace. Participants are introduced to Dewi and Linh, explore their experiences with abusive colleagues, and practice a direct intervention during a sexual harassment incident using their own responses. Although the setting may feel distant, the behaviors and attitudes demonstrated by the perpetrator are widely recognizable across workplaces.

Learning objectives:

  • Identify unacceptable behavior, even when boundaries appear unclear.
  • Understand the legal framework used to define and recognize sexual harassment.
  • Learn active bystander strategies to support individuals who may be affected.
