A series of immersive VR training simulations designed to help newly qualified doctors and medical students strengthen patient communication skills, developed in collaboration with the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM).
In addition to the core content-based topics, the learner journey includes supporting activities such as onboarding, self-reflection, and a final survey. These ancillary activities follow a consistent structure and are designed to complement the main learning experience.
Ancillary activities typically take three to four minutes to complete. Each topic is estimated to take approximately five minutes, although completion time may vary if learners choose to revisit topics to explore alternative options, which is encouraged, or to refine their open-ended responses.
Learning objectives:
- Understand how different responses can de-escalate or intensify anger.
- Recognise verbal and non-verbal signals of anger.
- Maintain composure in hostile or high-pressure situations.
- Respond with empathy to help move interactions forward constructively.
- Apply de-escalation techniques across a range of challenging scenarios.
